2017年6月5日下午15:00点,澳大利亚昆士兰大学Chengzhong Yu教授应邀在四川大学望江校区永利官网313报告厅作了题为“Designer Nanoparticles for Delivery”的学术报告。此次学术报告由永利官网院长褚良银主持,永利官网师生聆听了本次报告。
Chengzhong Yu教授从“Where to delivery? What to delivery? Why chose nanoparticles? Why chose our nanoparticles?”等问题开始报告的讲解,讲述了目前畜牧业中抗菌剂和杀虫剂的控制释放过程中纳米结构微球应用的重要性,提出了用简易方法大规模制备用作抗菌剂及杀虫剂载体的表面凸起(surface roughness)纳米微球。报告详细介绍了具有粘附性的表面凸起的二氧化硅纳米微球的制备方法,并对比了表面凸起与表面平整的微球包载药物的载药量和释放过程,证实了表面凸起的二氧化硅纳米微球的优势。最后,Chengzhong Yu教授具体介绍了三种包载药物的纳米微球的实际应用,并对纳米微球制备技术与微流控技术相结合制备出形貌均一的纳米微球的潜在应用发展进行了展望。在报告结束后的提问环节中,Chengzhong Yu教授与各位师生就报告内容开展了深入的交流与讨论。Chengzhong Yu教授内容新颖的报告让众师生受益匪浅,对大家从事科研工作和学习具有指导和启迪意义。
Chengzhong Yu教授简介:
Prof. Yu is a chemist and materials scientist in functional nanostructured composites and their applications. Since 2000, he has published over 240 peer-reviewed journal articles, which have been cited over 14,000 times and resulted in an H-index of 60. Since 2010, he has attracted over 8 M A$ grants from the Australian Research Council (ARC), the Cancer Council of Queensland, Queensland Government and industry partners. He has developed broad industrial collaborations to extend the applications of functional materials in a real world. He has received several awards including the Le Févre Memorial Prize from the Australian Academy of Science, the ARC Future Fellowship, and the Second prize of the National Science Award of China (Ranked 3/5).
